Little League (Ages 11–12)
This division is designed for players ages 11 and 12 and offers a more competitive playing environment while continuing to build on the fundamentals taught in our Minor League.
Key Features:
- Player-pitch format – All pitching is done by the players, allowing them to develop key skills on the mound.
- Advanced game elements – Players are introduced to lead-offs, pick-offs, and more complex in-game strategies.
- Three outs per inning – Standard baseball rules apply; teams must record three outs to end each half-inning.
- Scorekeeping and standings – Game scores, team records, and standings are tracked throughout the season.
- End-of-season playoffs – Teams compete in a playoff tournament to wrap up the season.
- Team formation – Players are selected through a coach-led draft to help maintain balanced, competitive teams.
- Home and away games – Teams will compete against other Blackhawk teams, as well as teams from Beaver, Central Valley, and Riverside.
This level gives players the opportunity to experience a more realistic and challenging version of baseball while continuing to learn and grow in a team environment.
